Publishing Packages (effective October 10, 2022)
Level One Publishing Package—$995
Includes: ISBN, formatting, and publishing. You provide Missional Press your professionally copy-edited, proofed manuscript, with an acceptable cover design. Your cover designer must be proficient enough to make modifications like adding a barcode, the Missional Press logo, and fitting the design to a template we will provide. Included with this level are 25 copies of your printed book.
Level Two Publishing Package—$1,495
Includes: ISBN, formatting, cover design, and publishing. You provide Missional Press with your professionally copy-edited manuscript with an acceptable cover design. (On acceptable cover designs, see above.) Missional Press will provide proofreading services to ensure a clean manuscript before going to print. Included with this level are 50 copies of your printed book.
Level Three Publishing Package—$1,995
Includes: ISBN, copy-editing, formatting, cover design, and publishing. Missional Press will provide copy-editing services for your manuscript to ensure to correct mistakes, ensure flow and good content layout, and secure a professional graphic designer for your cover. Included with this level are 100 copies of your printed book.
Level Four Publishing Package—$2,495
Includes: ISBN, copy-editing, proofreading, formatting, cover design, and publishing. Missional Press will provide copy-editing services for your manuscript to ensure to correct mistakes, ensure flow and good content layout, proof-reading services for your manuscript to ensure no typos, or spelling or grammatical mistakes, and secure a professional graphic designer for your cover. Included with this level are 100 copies of your printed book.
NOTES, PLEASE READ:
1) With Missional Press, you always own your book; the copyright will be yours. If at any time you choose to take your work to another publisher, you are free to do so as long as you are current on any Missional Press billing.
2) The above pricing applies to books of less than 220 pages at 5.5″ x 8.25″ size. Package prices increases for Levels One and Two by $2.50 per page beginning with page 221. The price increases for Level Three by $4.00 per page beginning with page 221. The price increases for Level Four by $6.00 per page beginning with page 221. Books longer than 400 printed pages will require a quoted price. Page count and word count are related. Missional Press does not allow use of unreadably small fonts to keep page counts low. Missional Press reserves the right to determine readability and final page count.
3) Clients will be invoiced at 60% of the total to start the process with the final 40% being paid before the book goes to print. Clients will have the opportunity to review a digital proof before printing. Changes requested by client after the proof stage will incur additional fees. No books included with any publishing package will be printed until final payment is received.
4) Per-copy cost per client to purchase books is dependent on book length and quantity in each single purchase.
5) E-book publishing is available for an additional fee. To add an e-book to any publishing package, please indicate your interest in the form.
